"The Package" as they have become known is an energetic funkified dance band with Steve Miller at the helm supported by five horns and a powerful rhythm section. They play the great horn music of Stevie Wonder, The Commodores, Tower of Power, Sly and The Family Stone and much much more.
Daydream Hostages is the newest endeavor! Peter Scobell on vocals and guitar with just bass support by yours truly. Lots of good classic feel in multiple genres; ska, folk rock, pop ballad and funk. As the Electrified trio Augie Parodi joins us on drums.
One Alternative is Mark Oppenlander's wonderful band. Typically it consists of two classical guitars and oboe. Occasionally, Mark calls for drums and bass. Beautiful originals and clever arrangements.
Charlotte Hash who has one of the few remaining Delaware Bands of the 1980's in Heavenly Hash also fronts the trio Dry Martini supported by the inimitable Frank Baldo on guitar, vocals and drum machine. It is a pleasure to join these folks for some rock, jazz, pop and island music. Small footprint - big sound!
